Ingo Meichsner

Ingo Meichsner is a Professor of Contemporary Dance at Folkwang University of the Arts. He is a renowned expert in the fields of classical dance and choreography, with a particular focus on the works of Pina Bausch and the legacy of German Expressionist dance. His research interests include the history and theory of contemporary dance, the intersection of dance and technology, and the cultural impact of dance in modern society. He has supervised numerous PhD students and postdocs, and is currently the principal investigator on a major project exploring the future of dance education.
