Inger Wallin Lundell is a Lecturer at the Swedish Red Cross University within the Department of Health Sciences. She holds a PhD in Medicine (2014) and a Master's in Education (2008), combining clinical expertise as a registered nurse with academic leadership as Director of Studies and researcher.
Her research focuses on adolescent and young adult health, particularly sexual and reproductive health for women with ADHD and trauma effects on executive functions among torture survivors. Key projects include collaborations with Linköping University and the Competence Centre for Torture and War Injury Rehabilitation.
She has published extensively on post-abortion PTSD, gender-based violence in healthcare contexts, and reproductive health education, with recent work emphasizing trauma-informed care, curriculum development for violence prevention, and neurocognitive impacts of torture. Her teaching spans campus and distance learning at undergraduate and advanced levels.
