Dr. Inge Wichgers is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences, University of Groningen, specializing in educational sciences. Her research focuses on educational trajectories in secondary education, study profile choices, and spiritual care education. Current teaching activities include supervising master theses and internships, as well as delivering courses on Academic Skills, Study Skills, and Classroom Behavior.
- PhD Thesis: 'Study profile guidance: perspectives of students, school counsellors and tutors in Dutch secondary education' (2017–2024)
- Postdoctoral Research (2023–2024): Education about meaning/spiritual care at the Faculty of Religion, Culture, and Society in collaboration with the Protestant Theological University
Her research output includes 13 publications, with recent contributions in Australian Journal of Career Development and British Journal of Guidance & Counselling. Collaborative projects with H.
