Inga Støren

Inga Støren is an Associate Professor at NLA University College, specializing in pedagogy with a focus on intercultural education, migration, and educational philosophy. She co-leads the research group Education, Displacement, & Belonging and manages the PED3A Master in Pedagogy program.

Her research examines refugee education, global governance, and curriculum theory through critical and Kantian lenses. Recent projects include Ukrainaskolen (2024-2026) for Ukrainian refugee children and studies on trauma-affected refugee education in collaboration with HVL and UiB.

Inga teaches courses in intercultural pedagogy, comparative education, and curriculum theory, while co-leading PhD courses on educational leadership in crises. Her publications address World Bank policies, refugee education systems, and ethical dilemmas in displacement contexts.
