Inese Briede is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at Riga Stradins University (RSU), where she actively contributes to academic research and clinical diagnostics. She holds a PhD in Basic Medicine, awarded in 2022, and has been recognized as an Expert by the Latvian Council of Science for the term 2025–2028. Her clinical work includes a role as a Pathologist at Paula Stradina Clinical University Hospital (2017–2024) and currently at Riga East Clinical University Hospital since September 2024.
Her research focuses on oncological pathology, particularly colorectal carcinoma, renal tumors, meningiomas, and ependymomas.
