Imre Szilard Gango is a Lecturer in the Teacher Education Programme in Visual Arts at Konstfack, University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, Sweden. Born in Sweden in 1976, he specializes in art education with emphasis on digital media and remote teaching methodologies.
His research focuses on the challenges of delivering quality art education through distance learning platforms, particularly examining assessment methods for visual arts in remote settings. His recent degree project 'In the Path of Distance Education' analyzes difficulties in observing, understanding and fairly evaluating students' artistic work in remote learning environments.
