Imre Lahdelma is a post-doctoral researcher at Durham University, specializing in music psychology and cross-cultural perception studies. He holds a PhD in musicology from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. His research examines how cultural backgrounds influence musical perception, particularly regarding consonance, dissonance, and emotional responses to harmonic structures.
His research bridges multiple disciplines:
