Prof. Dr. Immanuel Halupczok leads the Algebra and Number Theory research group at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf. His work applies model-theoretic methods to arithmetic geometry and valued fields.
Current research examines singularities and stratifications over valued fields, motivic integration techniques, and representation theory of reductive groups over local fields. Additional interests include combinatorial mathematics and symmetric varieties.
He supervises doctoral researchers in algebra and model theory, including projects funded by GRK 2240: Algebro-Geometric Methods in Algebra, Arithmetic and Topology. His team participates in interdisciplinary seminars across multiple institutions.
