Imke van Hellemondt

Dr. Imke van Hellemondt is a Researcher and Lecturer in Architectural History and the Designed Environment at the Faculty of Humanities, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She holds a PhD in Architectural History from the same institution. Her research focuses on the history of ecology and nature-culture relationships in Dutch landscape design since the 19th century, with international comparative perspectives. She has led the AHRC-funded IFLA 75 project to preserve landscape architecture archives across Europe. She also collaborated on studies of the VU campus landscape and Dutch ecological design networks.
