Iman Ardekani

Iman Ardekani is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the School of Computing, University Notre Dame, and currently serves as the National Head of Discipline for Mathematics and Data Analytics at the same institution since February 2024. Their academic background includes a PhD in Computational Mathematics and Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Auckland, along with MEng and BEng degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Tehran.

Research focuses on interdisciplinary areas at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and engineering applications. Key interests include Bayesian modeling for electrical systems, AI-driven website analysis, bioacoustic data processing for apiculture, and financial forecasting using deep learning techniques. Recent work explores convolutional neural networks for disease prediction in bee colonies and comparative analysis of machine learning models for forex markets.
