Imalie Perera

Imalie Perera is an Instructor in the Department of Engineering Mathematics at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. She holds a B.S. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Peradeniya (2021) and is pursuing a PhD in Mathematical Sciences at Clemson University, expected to graduate in 2029. She previously served as a Graduate Teacher of Record in the Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Clemson University.

Publications: Her notable research includes Vehicle Tracking based on an Improved DeepSORT Algorithm and the YOLOv4 Framework, presented at the 2021 International Conference on Information and Automation for Sustainability.
