Her research focuses on anorexia nervosa, cognitive control mechanisms, reward processing, and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). She completed her PhD (summa cum laude) in 2016 at TU Dresden under Prof. S. Ehrlich and Prof. A. Strobel, with thesis work at King's College London.
Professional experience includes roles as a postdoctoral fellow (2017–present), doctoral fellow (2012–2016), and research positions at King's College London (2011–2012). Her work integrates neuroimaging techniques to study brain connectivity and genetic factors in eating disorders.
