Ilenia Del Popolo Marchitto is a Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Naples L’Orientale. Her work focuses on Russian linguistics, with specialization in semantics, pragmatics, and second language acquisition. She holds an MA in Literary, Linguistic and Comparative Studies from the same university, where her thesis addressed the didactics of Russian as a foreign language. Additionally, she earned a Diploma in 'Methods of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language' and Russian Language Teacher qualification from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
Her research integrates corpus-based methodologies to study language structures and communication dynamics. Key areas include applied linguistics, language pedagogy, and cross-cultural communication strategies in Russian language education.
