Ilari Nikula is a doctoral researcher and full-time university teacher at the University of Lapland's Faculty of Social Sciences. His research focuses on environmental social science, political ecology, and global governance, with particular attention to expert governance, neoliberalism, and biopolitical frameworks. He teaches International Relations and Environmental Social Science courses to both Bachelor and Master students.
