Igor Meszka is a Research Fellow at the University of Oslo's Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, affiliated with the Hybrid Technology Hub and The Krauss Group. His research focuses on developmental biology and stem cell technology, with expertise in gastruloids, vascularization, and proteomics. He holds a PhD from the University of Montpellier (France) under Dimitris Xirodimas, investigating the NEDD8 pathway via chemical biology approaches. Earlier, he completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. at the University of Warsaw, studying cell cycle regulation in pluripotent stem cells under Maria Anna Ciemerych-Litwinienko. His technical skills include confocal microscopy and mass spectrometry. Meszka has been supported by prestigious fellowships, including the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action as part of the UbiCODE network.
