Dr. Ignacio Navarro Soria is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Developmental and Didactic Psychology at the University of Alicante's Faculty of Education. With over 15 years of academic experience, he specializes in neurodevelopmental disorders, cognitive psychology, and educational interventions. His current affiliations include the Comprehensive Research Group on Typical and Atypical Neurodevelopment (GINTA) and the Research Group on Evolutionary Psychology and Criminology (GIPEC).
Dr. Navarro's research examines ADHD cognitive patterns, attachment disorders in vulnerable children, and AI applications in psychological assessment. His work bridges clinical practice and education, with recent projects including:
- European AI-Powered Gender Based Violence Reduction Initiative (EU Coordinator)
- Cognitive Pattern for ADHD Diagnosis Using WISC-5 (Lead Researcher)
- AI tools for cyberbullying prevention (Collaborator)
He has supervised 86 undergraduate/master's theses in the past five years and teaches courses in Developmental Psychology, Educational Psychology, and Therapeutic Pedagogy. With 46 journal articles and 27 book chapters published since 2019, his scholarship advances understanding of neurodiverse learning profiles and evidence-based interventions.
