Ieva Kustova is a PhD Student at the Economics and Business Institute of Riga Technical University. As a sustainability consultant, she supports companies across diverse sectors—including energy, transport, and forestry—in developing strategies for environmental and social sustainability, conducting climate risk assessments, and aligning investments with sustainable frameworks.
Her research focuses on sustainable public infrastructure planning, with an emphasis on creating models for state and municipal institutions to ensure resilient, sustainable infrastructure systems. Key areas include sustainable development, sustainability reporting, EU taxonomy compliance, and climate risk assessment.
Publications: Recent work includes studies on sustainability criteria in infrastructure (2024), state intervention strategies (2023), and Green Deal policy perceptions in Latvia's rail sector (2022). These articles highlight her engagement with EU policy frameworks and sustainable investment mechanisms.
