Dr. Ida Panev is a professor of professional studies at the Veleučilište u Rijeci (Rijeka College of Applied Sciences). She specializes in database systems, information technology education, and multimedia systems. Her teaching portfolio includes courses such as Data Modeling, Database Systems, Multimedia Systems, and Development of Information Systems. She holds a doctorate in sociology (dr. sc. socio.) and actively contributes to academic discourse through research in educational technology, instructional design, and cognitonics principles in ICT education.
Her research explores topics such as virtual reality in education, SQL optimization, online learning methodologies during the pandemic, and cognitive principles in multimedia systems. She has published extensively on e-learning strategies, cloud computing security, and the impact of instructional media on student learning styles.
