معرفی
Dr. Ibukun Oluwoye is a Research Fellow at Curtin University's Curtin Corrosion Centre and an Adjunct Lecturer at Murdoch University. He holds a PhD from Murdoch University (Australia) and has conducted multidisciplinary research in chemical process kinetics, heterogeneous reactions, and environmental systems. His work focuses on sustainable solutions for industrial processes, including polymer degradation in subsea environments and microplastic remediation.
Education: B.Sc. (Hons), MSc (Eng), PhD (Eng), AFHEA (Teaching & Learning).
Research Interests:
- Engineering polymers and microplastics
- Chemical kinetics and process optimization
- Environmental monitoring and remediation
- Material characterization (spectroscopy, thermal analysis)
- Reaction modeling (density functional theory)
Recent publications highlight advancements in microplastic emissions, wastewater treatment membrane systems, and offshore infrastructure recycling. His work in Japan under the JSPS Fellowship advanced low-cost microplastic filtration technologies. Awards include the JSPS Fellowship (2022-2024), Australian Academy of Science Mobility Grant (2020), and Australian Combustion Society Award (2019).
Dr. Oluwoye collaborates with NERA's National Decommissioning Research Initiative to develop sustainable recycling pathways for offshore infrastructure. His research bridges environmental science and engineering, addressing global challenges in pollution control and resource efficiency.
