Dr. Ian Rogers is a Senior Lecturer in the BA (Music Industry) program at RMIT University's School of Media & Communication. He coordinates third-year students and focuses on cultural studies and sociological approaches to music, including music scenes, heritage, and cultural memory. His research spans empirical studies on musicians' ideologies and careers, with recent projects exploring Web3's impact on music distribution and the evolving music lifecycle.
