Ian Fillmore

Ian Fillmore is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Washington University in St. Louis and an Associate Principal at Charles River Associates in Chicago. His academic research bridges Industrial Organization, Labor Economics, and Econometrics, with a focus on Education Markets, Technological Change and Labor, and Optimal Taxation.

His work spans themes like the economics of education, pricing in higher education, and the impact of technological change on workers. Prior research has also examined labor markets and professional sports economics. He is affiliated with the Inequality: Measurement, Interpretation, and Policy (MIP) network.
