Ian Kash

Ian Kash is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois Chicago. His research focuses on the intersection of computer science and economics, particularly in AI and machine learning contexts.

Research Interests span economics and computation, with applications to cloud computing, multi-agent reinforcement learning, market design, mechanism design, auction theory, proper scoring rules, internet advertising, incentive engineering, and social computing. His work also explores algorithmic game theory, privacy-preserving mechanisms, and blockchain economics.
