Iakovina Kindylidi

Iakovina Kindylidi is a Visiting Professor at the NOVA School of Law, Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She specializes in data protection, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, and consumer law, advising clients globally through her role at VdA since 2019.

Academic Qualifications:

Her research focuses on AI governance, digital regulation, and emerging technologies, with contributions to the European Commission's AI Office and the IEEE CertiAIED program. She actively collaborates on EU policy frameworks, including the first code of conduct for general-purpose AI providers.

She co-authored multiple publications with Magda Cocco and others in journals like Sustainability and UNIO – EU Law Journal, covering topics such as AI liability, crypto-assets regulation, and data protection. Her work bridges law and technology, addressing interdisciplinary challenges in digital ecosystems.
