Graça Canto Moniz

Graça Canto Moniz is an Invited Associate Professor at the NOVA School of Law (Universidade NOVA de Lisboa) and a Researcher at the Centro de Investigação e Desenvolvimento sobre Direito e Sociedade (CEDIS). She also serves as an Assistant Professor at Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa School of Law and is the Chief Privacy Officer at FUTURA – Law & Tech. Her expertise spans Data Protection, RegTech, and Legal-Political Sciences, with a focus on GDPR compliance and EU legal frameworks. In 2015, she won the European Prize António Sousa Franco for her doctoral work on judicial activism in EU law.
