Iain M. Cheeseman

Iain M. Cheeseman is the Herman and Margaret Sokol Professor of Biology at MIT's Whitehead Institute. His research analyzes the molecular machinery directing chromosome segregation and cell division, with focus on the kinetochore structure. His lab investigates how core cellular structures adapt to physiological contexts through transcriptional, translational, and post-translational mechanisms.
