معرفی
Dr Iain Gallagher is a Research Fellow at Edinburgh Napier University's School of Applied Sciences, actively contributing to cardiovascular research through the Centre for Cardiovascular Health. His academic work focuses on vascular function and its seasonal variations, with particular emphasis on nitric oxide utilization.
His research interests center on cardiovascular health, specifically examining how seasonal changes affect vascular function and nitric oxide pathways. This work has important implications for understanding vascular health across different environmental conditions and seasons. His research combines physiological measurements with environmental factors to determine how vascular function fluctuates throughout the year.
Dr Gallagher serves as academic supervisor for postgraduate research, currently mentoring PhD candidates in cardiovascular science. He is part of collaborative research teams investigating physical activity, vascular health, and cardiovascular disease prevention.
As a member of the Centre for Cardiovascular Health, Dr Gallagher works alongside researchers including Dr David Muggeridge (Primary Supervisor on the SUN Project), Prof Lis Neubeck, Dr Coral Hanson, and Dr Sheona Mchale in advancing cardiovascular research at Edinburgh Napier University.
