IRENE GARCIA SELFA

IRENE GARCIA SELFA is a Professor at the University of Huelva, affiliated with the Higher Technical School of Engineering and the Department of Integrated Sciences. Her research focuses on Applied Mathematics, particularly in Number Theory and Computational Mathematics, with a specialization in Elliptic Curves and Diophantine Equations.

She earned her PhD from the University of Seville in 2006, completing a thesis titled Diophantine and Computational Aspects of Rational Torsion in Elliptic Curves under the supervision of Dr. José María Tornero Sánchez. She is also affiliated with the Center for Advanced Studies in Physics, Mathematics, and Computing.
