I sak Kim is a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. With a focus on cognitive psychology, his research explores human perception and attention, particularly affordance perception and its relationship with motor expertise. He employs experimental methods such as computer tasks, 3D projections, and virtual/augmented reality technologies to analyze perceptual-cognitive interactions in both controlled and real-world contexts. Kim has extensive teaching experience across diverse institutions, including UH Mānoa, community colleges, and high schools in early college programs.
