Hyung-Wook Kim is a Professor at Sejong University's Department of Integrative Bioscience and Biotechnology. He holds a Ph.D. in Life Sciences and Biotechnology from Korea University and has held academic roles since 2014, including Assistant and Associate Professor at Sejong University.

- Previous Roles: Research Scientist at University of Washington (2011–2014), Postdoctoral Fellow at NIH (2006–2010)
