Hyuna Lee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Biola University. She serves as an academic advisor in the Office of Health Professions Advising and co-mentors the In-Semester Bridge Program. Her interdisciplinary work bridges biology, neuroscience, and biomedical engineering.
Dr. Lee's research investigates:
- Regeneration properties of zebrafish caudal fins under environmental toxicants
- Tumor angiogenesis through cancer cell transplantation in transgenic zebrafish
- Mitochondrial trafficking dynamics in neurons using microfluidic platforms
She teaches foundational courses in biological principles, neurobiology, and directs undergraduate research projects involving zebrafish neurobehavioral studies.
