Hye-Jin Nae

Hye-Jin Nae is an Associate Professor in the School of Design at RIT's College of Art and Design. She holds an MFA in Computer Graphics Design from RIT, a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Wisconsin, and a Bachelor's in Fashion and Textiles from Sungshin Women's University. Her research focuses on UI/UX design intersections with healthcare technology and interdisciplinary collaboration, with notable grants from NIH ($2.9M) and DHS. She has pioneered projects like the Ex-Out Creativity Handbook (mobile app for social activism) and a data-driven tool for heart failure monitoring.
