Huub van der Vaart

Prof. Huub van der Vaart is a Full Professor at University Medical Center Utrecht since 2012, specializing in urogynaecology. Active since 1996 at UMCU, he pioneered patient-reported outcome measures in pelvic floor research and established national guidelines for incontinence. As former chairman of the Dutch working party on pelvic floor (2004-2010), he contributed to urogynaecology's recognition as a subspecialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
