Hunter Chadwick serves as a Per Course Instructor in Graduate Leadership at the Herschend School of Education and is the Head of School at Calvary Day School (CDS), a position he has held for four years. Under his leadership, CDS has achieved 64% enrollment growth while establishing financial stability and enhancing academic rigor alongside co-curricular offerings.
Dr. Chadwick holds an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree and a doctorate in education. His career began in K-4 teaching before progressing to upper school instruction in Spanish and World History. He subsequently served as program coordinator for at-risk students at Bradwell Institute, Director of Curriculum at Savannah Christian Preparatory School, and held administrative roles at Fellowship Christian School followed by seven years as Head of Upper School at King's Ridge Christian School.
His professional expertise centers on Educational Leadership, School Administration, Curriculum Development, and K-12 Education. At CDS, he has spearheaded strategic initiatives including Board of Trustees development, creation of a comprehensive strategic plan, and establishment of a foundation endowment that distinguishes the school within the region.
Dr. Chadwick collaborates closely with his wife Erin, who serves as Director of College Counseling at CDS. Their large family includes four children currently enrolled at CDS and multiple grandchildren, several of whom also attend the school.
