Hung Nguyen Xuan

Professor Hung Nguyen Xuan is the Director of CIRTech Institute at HUTECH University (Vietnam) and holds adjunct/visiting positions at China Medical University (Taiwan) and Sejong University (South Korea). He also serves as President of the Vietnam Association for Computational Mechanics.

• PhD in Computational Engineering from the University of Liège (Belgium)

His research spans computational engineering, applied mathematics, data-driven machine learning, 3D printing, and bio-inspired porous materials. These interests reflect interdisciplinary work at the intersection of engineering, mathematics, and advanced manufacturing.

He has been recognized as a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher for 14 consecutive years (2008-2021) and received prestigious awards like the Georg Forster Research Award (2016) and Alexander von Humboldt Fellowships (2019, 2021).
