Huiping Guo is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at California State University, Los Angeles, affiliated with the College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Technology. She has been a full professor since 2016.
- B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Nanjing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics (1992, 1999)
- Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of Ottawa (1999-2003), supervised by Dr. Nicolas D. Georganas
- Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Secure Information Systems, George Mason University (2003-2005), supervised by Dr. Sushil Jajodia
Research Interests include:
- Database Security
- Network Security
- Privacy and Digital Rights Protection
- Blockchains
- IoT Security
In Fall 2023, Dr. Guo taught courses on topics including CS4222, CS4472, and CS4780.
