Huicheng Chien is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at the State University of New York at New Paltz. He has been teaching full-time at SUNY New Paltz since 2013 and previously held a postdoctoral researcher position at Saint Louis University from 2010 to 2012.
Education:
- Ph.D. in Geography, State University of New York at Buffalo (2011)
Research Focus: His work centers on hydrological modeling, water resource management, climate change impacts, and geographic information systems (GIS). His research explores environmental modeling applications in physical geography and watershed dynamics.
