Hui Sun

Hui Sun is an Assistant Professor of Organization Theory at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Her work focuses on the socio-cognitive foundations of strategy formation and network mobilization in complex environments. Prior to joining Frankfurt School in 2024, she was an Assistant Professor at the House of Innovation, Stockholm School of Economics.

• Education: PhD in Management from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Her research explores how social relationships and cognitive processes interact in organizational decision-making, emphasizing contexts of uncertainty and ambiguity. The 2021 publication in Personal Networks: Classic Readings and New Directions in Egocentric Analysis highlights her focus on social network representation in cognition and organizational dynamics.
