Hugo Velthuijsen is a Lecturer-Researcher at Hanze University of Applied Sciences' Marian van Os Centre of Expertise Entrepreneurship, focusing on New Business & ICT Digital Transformation. He serves as an Expert member of the Sociaal Economische Raad Noord Nederland since 2015.
Research interests include E-coaching systems for emotional eating interventions, digital transformation of healthcare services, and 5G/6G network applications in smart policing and transport. He leads major projects like 6G Future Network Services (2024-2030) and Proeftuin 5G (2021-2023).
