معرفی
Hugo Théoret is a Full Professor in the Department of Psychology at Université de Montréal, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Science. His research focuses on neurophysiological mechanisms of the motor system, including effects of traumatic brain injury, neuroplasticity, and brain stimulation techniques like TMS and EEG. He leads multiple research projects funded by CRSNG, IRSC, and FRSQ.
- Key affiliations include CERNEC, CHU Sainte-Justine, and CIRCA.
- Teaches courses like Human Neuropsychology and supervises programs in Cognitive Sciences, Neuroscience, and Psychology.
Research interests emphasize motor resonance, cognitive neuroscience, and clinical applications of neuromodulation. Over 20 years of grants include studies on TMS mechanisms, concussion effects, and schizophrenia treatment optimization.
Advised over 20 graduate students since 2002, focusing on motor learning, brain injury recovery, and neuroplasticity mechanisms.
