Hugo Posada-Quintero

Hugo Posada-Quintero is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Connecticut. His research focuses on biomedical signal processing, wearable sensors, and machine learning-based interpretation of physiological signals for detecting stress, fatigue, pain, emotion, cognitive performance, oxygen toxicity, and heart failure. With over $6 million in research funding from agencies including NIH, Office of Naval Research, National Institute for Undersea Vehicle Technology, and Military Operational Medicine Research Program, he has co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications.
