Hubert Schmidt serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Trier, while concurrently holding the position of Justice Councilor and practicing as a specialist lawyer in commercial and corporate law since 1990.
His expertise spans Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Contract Law, Banking Law, Capital Markets, Liability Law, Jurisdiction, and Tax Law, with professional focus on corporate legal matters including contract drafting, general terms and conditions, and tax-related business law through his practice groups in Companies and Taxes.
Prof. Schmidt contributes to legal scholarship via publications in EWiR (Entscheidungen der Wirtschaftsrechtlichen Institute), addressing specialized topics in economic banking law and business liability law, and provides expert consultation to companies through his Koblenz-based secretariat led by Eva Schell.
