Hubert Marraud González

Hubert Marraud González serves as a Full Professor in the Department of Linguistics at the Autonomous University of Madrid, specializing in argumentation theory and philosophical discourse analysis.

His research centers on argumentative structures, meta-arguments, argumentative schemes, and diagramming methodologies, with current projects examining:

• Argumentative practices and pragmatics of reasons
• Construction of argumentative agents in public discourse
• Deliberative paradigms in public sphere argumentation

Professor Marraud González has supervised doctoral candidates including Jaime Roldán Corrales and Joaquín Galindo Castañeda, with defended theses on metaargument conceptualization and dialectical analysis of philosophical questions.
