Atocha Aliseda Llera

Atocha Aliseda Llera serves as a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Philosophical Research, National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), with active affiliation continuing until her scheduled sabbatical commencement in September 2025. Her institutional role centers within UNAM's philosophical research ecosystem, maintaining academic engagement through thesis supervision and cross-institutional research coordination.

Her research program critically examines the structural logic of scientific discovery processes, specializing in ampliative reasoning frameworks with significant emphasis on abductive inference mechanisms. She concurrently coordinates the international research project "Logics of discovery, heuristics and creativity in science" through the Institute for Science and Technology Studies at the University of Salamanca's Multipurpose R&D&I Building, demonstrating sustained research leadership beyond her primary UNAM appointment.
