Huan Yang

Dr. Huan Yang is a Lecturer in Economics at Oxford Brookes Business School. She holds a PhD in Economics from Lancaster University and specializes in SME finance, international trade dynamics, global value chains, and foreign direct investment. Her research examines firm-level impacts of internationalization, SME access to finance, pension systems, and women's entrepreneurship.

She teaches multiple courses including Quantitative Methods for Finance, International Finance, and Advanced Financial Management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her recent publications investigate entrepreneurial ecosystems, financial resilience of SMEs during crises, and credit accessibility under government guarantee schemes.

Current research projects include analyzing welfare impacts of pension systems, women's entrepreneurship challenges, SME finance accessibility, and internationalization effects at firm, sector, and national levels. She actively participates in major economics conferences including RES, ETSG, and AIB UKI.
