Dr. Htein Linn Aung is a Lecturer at the Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney, specializing in HIV/AIDS epidemiology, neurocognitive aging, and public health policy evaluation. He holds an MBBS from Myanmar, an MPH from the University of Auckland, and a PhD in Medicine from UNSW. His research focuses on evaluating public health interventions through administrative data analysis, particularly in HIV/STI prevention and the epidemiology of comorbidities among people living with HIV. He has extensive experience working with international NGOs on HIV surveillance and treatment programs in Myanmar.
