Prof. Dr. Hsueh Chih-Jen is an Assistant Professor of Law at the College of Law, National Taiwan University. He holds a Doctor of Law (Dr. jur.) from Eberhard-Karls University Tübingen (2010), an LL.M. from National Taiwan University (2002), and an LL.B. from National Taiwan University (1998). His research focuses on Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, and Law of Criminal Sanctions. He has held academic positions at National Cheng Kung University (2011-2013) and served as Vice Chief Editor of Taiwan Law Review (2002-2005).
His publications include works such as Farewell to the concept of termination of an offense in criminal law (2013, in German) and Criminalizing of Participation in Brawl (2002, in Chinese).
