معرفی
Hristo Rasheev is a Senior Assistant Professor at the Department of Physical Chemistry, Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy, University of Sofia, Bulgaria. He holds a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry (2022) and M.Sc. in Computational Chemistry (2018) from the same university. His research focuses on computational design of advanced materials for post-Li-ion batteries and modeling electrochemical processes using quantum chemical methods.

- M.Sc., Computational Chemistry, University of Sofia (2018)
- B.Sc., Chemistry, University of Sofia (2016)
Rasheev combines theoretical and experimental approaches to study energy storage mechanisms in rechargeable batteries, particularly for Li+, Na+, and Mg2+ systems. His recent work explores molecular engineering of quinone-based materials, redox-active MOFs, and electrode-electrolyte interactions.
His publications highlight innovations in battery materials, including dual-metal electrolytes, anthraquinone-functionalized graphene, and hybrid lithium-sodium ion cells. Research trends emphasize multiscale modeling, ion desolvation processes, and stability optimization of battery components.
Rasheev actively participates in international collaborations, including research visits at University of Cambridge (2019) and Chalmers University of Technology (2018). He teaches courses in quantum chemistry, molecular design, and physical chemistry at both bachelor's and master's levels.
