Hossein Kashani Zadeh

Hossein Kashani Zadeh is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of North Dakota's College of Engineering & Mines. He directs research on machine learning applications for food quality assessment and metal forming processes. His work focuses on spectroscopy-based solutions for agriculture and aerospace applications.

Research interests include machine learning for food quality assessment, finite element analysis of metal forming processes, spectroscopy applications, and aircraft engine structural analysis. Current projects involve developing handheld devices for fish freshness evaluation and crop health monitoring.
