Holly Reid

Holly Reid is an Associate Lecturer in the Division of Psychology & Mental Health within the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health at The University of Manchester. She also serves as a Research Associate at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust working for the Perinatal Mental Health and Parenting Research Unit (PRIME-RU).

Her educational background includes:

Dr. Reid's research focuses on perinatal psychology, particularly examining suicidal thoughts and behavior during the perinatal period. Her work spans maternity care systems, perinatal mental illness, and trauma-informed approaches to maternal mental healthcare. She employs diverse methodological approaches including systematic reviews, online questionnaires, interviews, Q-methodology, and randomized controlled trials.
