Holger Wrede is a Professor in Electrical Power Engineering at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences since 2014. He leads the Research Group on Power Electronic Energy Systems, focusing on control strategies, system management, and dynamic behavior of power electronics-dominated electrical networks. His work connects with energy transition (Energiewende), renewable energy integration, and grid stability. He also serves as Prodekan für Finanzen (Deputy Dean for Finance) and is a member of the In-LUST institute for sustainable urban development.
